There are more than twenty professional sand castle contests staged yearly, in addition to many amateur competitions and festivals.
Sand is used by renowned sculptors worldwide to produce spectacular works of art, with former themes including dinosaurs, fairy tales, and even climate change. The event is held in a different location each year. You will be awestruck by the magnificent detail and intricacy of the creations formed solely from sand and water. While some of these competitions have been running successfully for several years, others are just getting started.
